Hi,
I really like this theme, but it is not finished, so I like to ask to change it so it works correct otherwise other people have the same burden as I have.

I can change the theme so it works as I would expect, but then the nice two color sceme is not there anymore. I need to add lines to get the theme do as supposed to do, but it doesn't look right anymore then. The theme is not doing correct left or right floats.

The theme-designer Ron of http://www.ronsnexus.com explains not to have time to correct the errors, but how can you distribute a theme on drupal.org which is unfinished.... that is not good for your reputation as a designer I think.

I will try my best here to set what I try to change to get it working, somewhat correct. Only the colorsceme for me (as non-designer) is difficult to keep...

If somebody already altered the theme to work correct, please tell your changes on this thread. Until now the designer of the theme has been reluctant to change the theme so we have to do it ourself.

Asking money for a unfinished theme is off course not the way to go..so community lets combine efforts!! I will file my changes here soon also.

Greetings,
Martijn

The current -DEV release works as expected on a clean system for me.
We need to over-ride the system modules font colors to make table content show up clearer, but that's normal in many designer themes.
What are the additional requests that you wanted to make?
If you have requirements that are beyond the current scope, that's additional work.
As it is, the theme doesn't look broken or 'unfinished' to me. In Firefox3 and IE7 anyway.

What are your actual problems? Screenshot?

Hi Dan,

The content (middle) column is continuously attached to the bottom of the left or right sidebar. See also issue: http://drupal.org/node/243310 where I showed the screenshot (other users also complaint about this).

As you can see the content part is attached to the bottom of the left sidebar.
Sometimes it is attached to the right sidebar. This is certainly in IE6 and also FF.
This is also with all admin and add/content screens. And also when I want users to be able to add their profiles.
I could change this a little myself by adding what I explained in: http://drupal.org/node/243310, but I do not know to get this working for all the screens. The theme is in my perspective not finished until the middle part works correctly.

Thanks a lot for going into this!
Greetings,
Martijn

The theme is simply a conversion from oswd.org. I am not the original coder or designer. I have recently released the D6 version and welcome bug reports and solutions. They will be committed to the theme when people resolve them.

Hi, great this is still active. Hopefully the 6 version doesn't have the annoying middle peace of this great theme!

Martijn, did you get this working in D5? The .panel-col-top fix doesn't seem to work.

No, on user-input pages, it scrolls down to the bottom, this theme is not working 100%, the maintainer is avaliable against costs to repair he mailed me a half year back...

Martijn, thanks for replying ... what about incorporating aspects of other 3 column drupal themes that work (like bluebreeze-fixed in particular)?

Do you think that is viable?

Would be great if you got that fixed.. I use the theme on www.trekking-world.com, and without logging in it is working.
But if I log in, a lot of the theme goes to the bottom of the site and it looks not nice, and is not handy.

Yes, it is a problem because newbies don't know that you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to see the text area for entering a new post/blog/forum entry due to the bug.

I am probably way above my head on this one ... but trying with friends who are more knowledgeable. Of course I will post back if any success. Thanks
