Problem/Motivation

The synchronization between the webform submission and the created content doesn't seem to work. I checked both "Synchronize Webform submission with the created content in edition" and "Synchronize Webform submission with the created content in deletion" and entered a machine name.

My content and my form both have two fields, a title and a body. The content is created, but when I edit the submission, the content is not updated. At the moment I'm only mapping the title field, body field and the published status. Do I miss something? Do I need to take further steps to allow synchronization?

I seem to be finding the same problem - I have mapped the fields and clicked checkboxes to sync editing and deletion but when I edit either the node or the webform fields they don't sync after the original creation

Here's the steps to follow to have sync to work :

  1. Create your webform
  2. Create a content type with the fields you want to synchronise
  3. In the content type add a field to link the content to the webform submission : field_webform_sync
    It has to be a Number (integer)
  4. Create your webform creator configuration
    In the fields management page, check "field_webform_sync" and select Submission ID (sid) to be linked together

After those steps it works fine for me.
