Problem/Motivation

For several reasons described on the parent Plan issue #3388954: [PLAN] Discuss using Inter font for the navigation, we need to define a font that will be the same regardless of the theme, browser or operating system.

Proposed resolution

  • Define Inter as the font the new toolbar/navigation needs to use.
  • Include the font in the package following the same strategy as Olivero does (not linking a Google font). Once this module is in core it might change its placement, but for now it needs to be part of the module.

The navigation will use the Inter font both in Claro, Umami or Olivero.

In initial plan it was variable font here.
