Hi! Is there an upgrade path from Custom NID to this module?

Would be happy to replace Custom Nid (which doesn't have a release for Drupal 10 yet) with this one, but would existing custom NIDs be turned into entity IDs?

Ah wait— the module sets the node ID, and that's it— it doesn't need to bring along any of its own content fields, and has no configuration, so the upgrade path is rather guaranteed to work flawlessly, isn't it?!

Hi mlncn,

We will recommend to use this module in place of Custom Nid, as it will provide the flexibility to modify other entity ids as well.
You can directly replace the Custom Nid module with this one. It will work perfectly.
In case of any bug found pls create a bug we will be happy to solve it.
