This module dependency in Bootstrap-3 so this will not work with Bootstrap5 due to attributes name had renamed in Bootstrap5.

Also i did not find "Modal Bootstrap" option in "Add new Group" list.

I followed below steps in Drupal 10.

After installing, go to:

  1. Administration » Structure » Content Types » Manage display
  2. In the drop down select: "Modal Bootstrap"
  3. Click to button: "Add group"
  4. And create your field group

This has been addressed in 5.0.0 release.

The module now supports Bootstrap 5 markup, including the updated data-bs-* modal attributes and Bootstrap 5 button classes. The release also updates the project requirements to Drupal 10.3, Drupal 11, and Drupal 12.

Tested with Bootstrap 5 assets and confirmed that the modal opens and renders field group content correctly.
