Verified the MR5 on 9.5.8, the overlapping issue is fixed. Added screenshots for reference, RTBC++.
@Jay Jangid, try to create 2-3 article content types and go to the homepage.

I have also tested this issue in my local system.
After reviewing and implementing the MR! the issue is resolved.
