I don´t know, i did not notice this in the module though, but im not very familiar with this.
The regular translation did not work.

Anyone know how to change the Disqus language?

I'm wondering about the same thing. I've changed the language at our Disqus account but I still see Disqus buttons in english.

Update to the latest 1.x-dev. You'll see a "Localization support" toggle, which makes it so that Disqus gets translated to your site's language.
