The form on /admin/config/services/graph_mail shows 11111111-1111-1111-1111-111111111111 as placeholder for the Client ID and User ID form elements, which makes think only a UUID can be used for those values when it's not so. The user ID could also be a email address, for example.

Yes, those placeholders should be removed. Which format is accepted should eventually be reported in the field description, not using a placeholder.
