Let's say you've a monthly calendar and the current month doesn't have any event because they all are on the next month.

The default date setting should allow to use the first available date from the result set.

This could allow the user to immediately view at least one event because the calendar is opened on the next month, not on the current (empty) month.

What do you think?

Thank you for opening this request.

I have added the option to use the first result date to start the Calendar table.

You can test it by getting the dev branch 2.0.x.

As explained in the settings, if the option is left empty, the Calendar starts from the first result.

You can control which is the first result of your View with the Sort order, like usually.

Let me know! Thanks again for testing this module.
