1) The list of UK "provinces" in the module is a mixture of London boroughs, towns, counties and countries/dependencies - its quite useless! You probably want counties and you can get lists from http://www.gbet.com/AtoZ_counties/ or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_counties_of_the_United_Kingdom. There have been a few changes in recent years and some people still consider themselves residents or counties that have been abolished (Rutland - subject of a comedy programme in my youth). Some people in London can't tell what county they are in and this might apply to other large cities too - sometimes they use "London" as a county.

2) The Royal Mail (www.royalmail.com) quotes addresses with "Postal Towns" not counties, but you already have towns in the other fields. Most people who have a county quote it for human navigation as opposed to letter posting. Similarly most people would quote their "Locality" - sub part of a town - although few know that that is what it should be called.

3) The correct order for a UK Address is

Building Name if any
House No and Street
Locality
Town
County
Post Code

It looks wrong in other orders!

4) In the current data entry form "Kent" is not recognised as a province, although it is in the table. Its code (KEN) is recognised.

5) Would you do better implementing the lists as a table rather than text arrays? Then people could more easily edit to suit local taste.

Adrian,

thanks for this quite precise post. lets see (maintaining your bullets order):
1* Im very confused. Because you are not the first that pointed me about this. I changed the UK list a couple of times and i think its because people dont really know that is the exactly list (or they dont feel confortable with the new one). Im going to maintain the current list for know but im planning to add a "Custom lists" for states, cities and other stuff, so users might change it.

3* can you format it as listed this issue? I would add it once you say so.

4* Currently, the state/county field only accepts the code, not the full name.

5* Im planning to add this feature, yes. But the module will use to support it, Hierarchical Select, its not ready for D6. i will keep the discussion on http://drupal.org/node/244471.

regards,

massa
