Problem/Motivation:

I am working together with a data protection agency on the best possible solution to offer a correct data protection declaration of consent.

Regarding the 2-click solution, it would be perfect if there would be an option to display the service documentation in the cookie overlay as well. (and/or Docs url)

Here is the feedback from the privacy agency:

Google Maps is integrated on the website. Since data is automatically transferred to Google in this case as well, we recommend that this integration be blocked and a consent text be placed in front of it so that this integration is only activated after consent has been granted (so-called 2-click solution).

We recommend inserting the consent text in the blocked Google Maps field so that valid consent for the data transfer is also obtained.
(this is the issue)

Solution:

  • Option to display service documentation text in the Cookie overlay.
  • Option to display Docs url
