I think it is a better solution to either include a direct link to the example bundle in the project summary. the better solution is to directly include it in the release package.

and please use the drupal "standard" archive-type tar.gz

I can't really include the bundle in the release package because it isn't inherently part of the module and I haven't tested to see what happens if bundles are put in the bundle module folder, I designed it to be another top level item in the settings folder like modules or themes folder is. As for the linking issue I will fix that ASAP.
