This module adds an entity autocomplete form widget that replaces the field with an entity view display once an entity was chosen from the autocomplete.
This module is still in alpha and has some kinks to work out, known issues:
- Weight field gets added back in on some ajax events (Mainly when an entity gets referenced)
- In some situations a referenced value gets removed (Haven't found a stable way to reproduce)
Other than that it greatly improves usability, you no longer need to enter something like:
My node title (13), Contact page (22)
To add multiple entities, editors and webmasters understandably have issues with this.
