Need to include at least some basic documentation. I installed and activated the module, managed to find the Dashboard under the Views list, but it shows me basically nothing. My account name, and a "created date". After much hunting through the various menus, I did find a disabled "Referral User" field in the "Manage Display" section of my user account. It would be nice if I were given some sort of idea as to what I'm supposed to be doing to make this "Affiliate System" work, short of expecting users to just hunt through every screen of their site, and try to figure it out on their own.

No, respectfully I did not look there. I went to the project page on Drupal.ORG, and saw the composer string to install. I installed the module (using Composer), and found it to not be very intuitive. I looked, and the project page says "No Documentation Guides" so I hunted through my site trying to make some sort of sense of it. I think, at the very least, you need to put a link to the docs on the project page.

composer require 'drupal/simple_affiliate:1.x-dev

This command can also be changed in the README file and replaced with the composer command to add a stable release.
