Problem/Motivation

Claro has minimally updated the Tour styles and it currently has important accessibility issues, among other design improvements that could be done:

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable the Claro theme and set it as the Administration theme
  2. Enable Language module
  3. Visit /admin/config/regional/language/add
  4. Click Tour in the upper right hand corner
  5. Navigate to the third Tour item. This item has a link.

Proposed resolution

Design a new palette that solves this issues. It will be broadly done in #3251278: [META] Designs for dark background layers and its color palette and will need to be adapted for the Tour module specifically. Some of the current explorations can be seen here:

Drupal core is moving towards using a “main” branch. As an interim step, a new 11.x branch has been opened, as Drupal.org infrastructure cannot currently fully support a branch named main. New developments and disruptive changes should now be targeted for the 11.x branch, which currently accepts only minor-version allowed changes. For more information, see the Drupal core minor version schedule and the Allowed changes during the Drupal core release cycle.

The proposed resolution states that the solution is specific to Tour so this should move to the Tour project, which is now in contrib.

I am sure someone will correct this move if it is incorrect.

@ckrina we've already done some work on the 2.0.x branch updating the look. We have it always displaying with a different color if it's disable(no tours) and added a simple previous button. Think that covers the concern ?

Going to close as outdated for now but if more is needed for 2.0.x we can reopen.
