When entering geofield coordinates manually, using the latitude / longitude widget, if the longitude or the latitude is set to "0" (and the other to any value), then both values are lost upon saving (as if no coordinates were input)

Well ... it simply looks we want to block Coordinates values that are Null or not Numeric. So the code could be much more clear and synthetic ...
