0️⃣ Who is here today? Do you do anything for April Fools' Day?

damienmckenna Damien. Work. No, seriously.
gaurav mahlawat Hi :man-raising-hand:
marvil07 o/ =
benjifisher Benji, one of the maintainers of the migration subsystem. I plan to work today, too. I have not planned any pranks.
gaurav mahlawat @benjifisher is this also a prank? :joy:
alison Alison here! I'm trying to rick roll my coworkers -- genius, I know. :dancershark:
benjifisher @alison, I saw a lot of discussion on your threads about media_migration and so on. Is that all resolved? Do we have some additions to the permanent (not Slack) documentation?
alison @benjifisher I did not successfully use media_migration migrate_media_handler :sad-panda:  But I think it'll work out with my custom migration, with help from everyone. I haven't read your latest comments from the last 12-16 hours, yet, haven't opened my laptop yet today :) Thank you!
alison To answer your question, I don't think I have anything to contribute back to documentation yet.
marvil07 @alison You may also want to take a look at https://gitlab.com/drupalspoons/migrate_plus/-/issues/249 and work on the support for media. BTW my usual approach for inline media is a custom plugin, but that issue is an attempt to start having something re-usable across projects, a bit diifferent than in the approach of media_migration but similar.
anmolgoyal74 Hi.
benjifisher @alison, @gaurav mahlawat, @anmolgoyal74: is there something you would like to talk about? Comment in 1️⃣ or 4️⃣ if there is an issue you care about or if you are looking for ways to help.
alison Thank you! Nothing for today's meeting, but I'll look at that issue @marvil07 shared, later today or tomorrow.Getting my first vaccine shot in an hour!!!!!!!! :dancergunterpenguin:
alison I am so damn lucky to live in NY (and not even NYC where things were horrible last spring).(Sorry, off topic, I couldn't help myself. I'm so excited, and also sad it's not like this for everyone.) (edited)
benjifisher My wife got her first dose a week ago. I figure that I can continue to isolate more easily than most, so I will wait a few weeks before trying to "get in line".
anmolgoyal74 I can spend some time over this weekend. I will definitely try to pick and review some issues.
alison Agree - I'm relieved my husband finally got his this week bc he works in a public-facing job. (But we have a lot of supply in NY right now -- just, so so so lucky.)
benjifisher @anmolgoyal74: You can always ask for help in Slack. You may even get some.
quietone Vicki, No April Fool's Day plans.

1️⃣ What should we talk about today? Suggest topics here and I will add threads. I will also check for comments on the issue for today's meeting.

marvil07 I did not get into https://gitlab.com/drupalspoons/migrate_tools/-/issues/118 , yet. Likely not worth a thread, but I am curious how projects are not needing that change, likely no-one is starting new migration projects with recent versions of drush or the initial set is good enough for most people, which is also interesting because maybe less complexity would be better on the maintainership side.

2️⃣ Action items. To be added later.

benjifisher NR: #3190815: Source count caching broken: impossible to enable source count caching for SqlBase-based source plugins (plus, unneeded cache I/O). Carry over from last week. @benjifisher
benjifisher From last week: #2687849: Add back rollbacks on migrate_drupal_ui. Rescoped: see 6️⃣
benjifisher Prepare for next week's Zoom meeting. @heddn
benjifisher NR, Major: #2796755: [PP-1] Deprecate Migration::set(). @benjifisher
quietone NW: #2687849: Add back rollbacks on migrate_drupal_ui  @quietone

3️⃣ Statistics

benjifisher Fixed since last week's meeting: 2 (not counting the issue for the meeting).
benjifisher RTBC: 5, 1 of which is Critical, the rest Normal. Of these, 2 have not been updated in more than a month.
benjifisher NR: 38, including 5 Major and 7 that has not been updated in more than two months.
benjifisher The good news here is that @quietone and I got that Critical issue to RTBC. That was less than an hour ago. Also, the NR total is a little lower than last week.
benjifisher The bad news is that we are not making progress on the NR issues that have been waiting patiently for a review, and there are still several Major.
Matroskeen Today’s numbers were added to the graph :yum:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1o0Rjlc1vnnLP5bM5P-SMMyGzqn7258hi...
Matroskeen I’m going to take some time and add more historical data. Will try to make it ready before next meeting.
benjifisher Will you also rearrange the spreadsheet so that the graphs pull data automatically from the first tab?
Matroskeen I think it would be hard to do with current data structure. I will take a look if there is anything we can do :)
benjifisher If it helps, then I can insert a new column at the beginning each week instead of adding at the end.
Matroskeen @benjifisher it requires information to be located in one column to add a graph series. I’m not an expert in google charts so I’m not sure if there is a way around this.If you can organise it by grouping data into columns (like on Sheet 2), they I can try to figure it out. (edited)
Matroskeen I also added some data from the past. Now the first date is #3179679: [meeting] Migrate Meeting 2020-11-05
benjifisher What if I switch rows and columns, so there is a new row for each week?
Matroskeen It seems it will work. Can you check “Source” and “Graphs” sheets? If it looks good, feel free to migrate your data from Sheet 1 and remove it :slightly_smiling_face:
benjifisher Done. With 3 weeks of data, it was not too hard. If we had 10 weeks of data, it would have been annoying.

4️⃣ How can I help? Comment in this thread if you are looking for ways to help. Give us some idea of what you would like to do: documentation, code review, testing, project management, ...

5️⃣ Next week's meeting: Zoom, not Slack.

benjifisher I think we plan to make next week's meeting open, like the regular weekly meetings. If so, then we will post the Zoom link in this channel.
marvil07 That is new!One nice fact about in-text is the asynchronous part, but I guess  having some live ones is also useful.
alison Interesting!
benjifisher If I remember correctly, we agreed on video meetings once every 3 months.
alison I didn't see that in last week's minutes -- could you share a little background?
alison Oooo
alison Cool!
benjifisher The hope is that most or all of the maintainers will attend. We will try to focus on longer-term goals than in the weekly meeting.

6️⃣ Add back rollbacks through the UI

benjifisher #2687849: Add back rollbacks on migrate_drupal_ui
benjifisher It is a slow meeting today, so I think I will re-scope that issue, as we discussed last week.
marvil07 I usually get confused on the way UI is refered, when I see "migrate UI" I think in a general migrate UI, but this isse seems to be about migrate_drupal_ui instead.
benjifisher Yes, this issue is about the upgrade UI.
benjifisher Updated. @marvil07, feel free to make an additional update to the issue title.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) I recently discussed this with Angie and Jess and I believe Angie posted our feedback :slightly_smiling_face:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) sounds good IMHO to make a smaller scope and also it is not blocking anything given migrate is overall stable :slightly_smiling_face:
benjifisher Yes, Jess and Angie posted a few comments on March 18-19. I do not see a comment explicitly agreeing to the change in scope, but that seems like the consensus.
quietone I'll add this back to my list to work on.

7️⃣ Wrap up

benjifisher Thanks for participating! I already updated 2️⃣. Please continue to add comments in the threads. In 1-7 days, we will post a transcript for today's meeting.

Participants:

damienmckenna, gaurav mahlawat, marvil07, benjifisher, alison, anmolgoyal74, quietone, Matroskeen, richardbporter, Gábor Hojtsy
