Have you considered contacting the maintainers through the contact-form on their profile page to make them aware of this offer?
Here is a list of those that have permissions to add new maintainers:
@gaurav.kapoor I granted you permission to commit patches and maintain issues. Please do some work on the module (reviewing and commiting RTBC issues would be a great start) and get back to me via drupal.org contact form to roll a new release together. After that, assuming all goes smooth, I will grant you that permission as well.
