Failed loading /usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so:  /usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Is there something I have my hoster to ask to install it?

tell them that you command line php has ioncube loader enabled but it can't be found.

Just a note to anyone who comes across this: you'll get this same error if the user has a jailshell.

still can't figure this issue out. php -i shows correct php.ini and there is not a local one. Does drush depend on ioncube?
