Problem/Motivation

When using Claro theme with Imagewidget crop, the node edit right sidebar ends up hiding some of the editable content from other modules, i.e. Metatag, URL Redirects, Rabbit Hole, Simple Sitemap XML. After switching to Seven admin theme, all items in the right sidebar appear as they should.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable Imagewidget crop and any of the above mentioned modules
  2. Use Claro theme as admin theme
  3. Place Imagewidget crop on any image field form display
  4. Create/edit a node, add image and set crop
  5. Save node
  6. Edit node again and notice the items in the right sidebar are missing

Proposed resolution

Not sure where this problem's issue may be. There are no errors on the editor or logs. Have noticed that if the image field is located in the right sidebar, then the problem no longer exists. This is not a fix, however, because then the crop tool is unusable located in the sidebar due to it being cut off from viewing.

@fredonia_webteam, Thank you for reporting this problem. We rely on issue reports like this one to resolve bugs and improve Drupal core.

Since this was reported on Drupal 9, which is now end of life, let find out if this is still a problem. Can anyone reproduce this?

Since we need more information to move forward with this issue, I am setting the status to Postponed (maintainer needs more info). If we don't receive additional information to help with the issue, it may be closed after three months.
