Problem/Motivation

I have a plain text field I am wanting to have a token value in. However, it does not render properly. Screenshots attached of what is placed in the field, the field type, and what gets rendered on the screen.

This module does not replace tokens in field values, if you want that you need to do it yourself. Or use the metatag module, which sounds like it provides exactly the functionality that you're trying to build here, including token replacement.
