As part of the discussion of the potential implementation of "discussion nudges", there appears to be the need to provide an option to be able to post a nudge from a new "community health" drupal.org user account. This would act as a means of protecting the posted from retribution from those involved in the issue.

As seen on the initial mockup, one idea is to have a checkout to allow the poster to post from the "community health" account. Additional thoughts:

  • Should nudges always be posted from a generic account (not giving the poster a choice)?
  • If there is a choice, should the default be to post from the generic account?
  • If posted from a generic account, what additional data should be stored (for tracking purposes)? Who posted which nudge when and where?

Also see this issue for a discussion about who would have access to posting nudges.
