mandclu commented@berramou Thanks so much! Wanted to see if we could have a brief discussion about a possible new direction for this module.
As I understand it, the intent of this module is set a minimum number of values to display, but there's a different situation I would like to try to address. For multiple value fields, whenever the field has values (even from the default values configured for the field) it automatically shows an additional, empty field. My guess would be that this is meant to save users from having to explicitly add an additional field, but this may not always be what is needed. I'd like to see if that functionality could be added to this module, since it would still logically fall under the category of "extra settings". Any thoughts or concerns?
I would still plan on cleaning up the issue queue as much as possible and getting our a Drupal 9-ready release before starting this work, probably in a new branch.

mandclu commentedThanks! I think if we can resolve #3167015: Limited (but multivalue) fields, adding two items instead of one we should be good for a new release. If you can take a look, I'd appreciate any feedback.
