Dear all,

We have to plan to make this module compatible with Drupal 8.9.* and Drupal 9.
In order to do that I insert patchs developed to fix issues 3097832, 3109916 and 3113198
and I also clean the code with the recommendation of Drupal 9 from 3137085.

Please, if some of you can review the code before pushing it to 8.x-2.x.
If you meet some issues please tell me, and if you have some suggestion to improve the code let me know !
Don't forget to specify the version of Drupal, Domain and Simple XML Sitemap you are using, and if you are using redirect and if your project is in a sub-repository.

You can commit those patches to the dev branch and we can test there. That would be great. It is not really the standard or fun to test zip files.
