| kiran.kadam911 | Hello Everyone! :slightly_smiling_face: |
1️⃣ Overall project status updateOur path to beta is currently headed towards Drupal 9.1. #3111409: Add new Olivero frontend theme to Drupal 9.1 core as beta
| mtift (he/him) | Let's use this issue to discuss the overall status of the initiative in broad terms, and we'll discuss specific issued in the next thread. |
| proeung | Last week was another busy week with client work for both @mherchel and I, however, we're planning on tagging the Final Alpha release this week and looking to focus on some of the remaining issues that are defined within the beta criteria.Also, the Olivero theme will be doing real-world #a11y testing through the National Federation of the Blind. @Kat Shaw will be coordinating the testing effort for this work and we can't wait for this to get started soon. (edited) |
| Kat Shaw | @hanpersand has offered to help me out with the testing effort! Thanks @mgifford (he/him) for setting that up! :tada: |
2️⃣ Individual issue discussion
| mtift (he/him) | If you've got issues, this thread is the place to discuss them :slightly_smiling_face: |
| proeung | I'll be merging this patch that @q0rban has submitted so that our Tugboat preview is using Drupal 9.x. #3158400: Upgrade Tugboat integration to use Drupal 9.x Thank you, James for opening this issue and putting a patch together. |
| proeung | #157013: How do I create a search field for a view Theme fieldset element is close to being merged and probably included in the Final Alpha tagging. |
| KarinG | Hi @proeung - thank you for your guidance on #3158585: z-index issue when using webform wizard pages - @mherchel suggested we go even higher -> to 501 and 502 I'm happy to update the patch with these numbers if that helps - I don't think I have enough experience to properly review all z-indexes though. |
| proeung | @KarinG Thanks for bringing this up. I think you're correct. We'll need to look at the overall z-indexes that are current set in other Core modules so that we can define the right number in the theme. If you like, feel free to submit a patch and we can do a follow up review and testing there. |
| proeung | Also, we'll be updating the theme's PostCSS config to align with Core. An issue will be created for this work. |
| kiran.kadam911 | @KarinG If possible can you pls have look into review & if everything all right moved to RTBC because nearest to close:#3158372: Allow users to decide on th alignment#comment-13755246Thanks in advance! |
| KarinG | Hi @kiran.kadam911 - sorry lost track on that one - so many people jumped in :slightly_smiling_face: -> my quick thoughts: this issue is specific to letting users set alignments using CKEditor only - probably should not include any padding edits/changes. I do think we need to add text-align-left for good measure - even if it's default for the LTR. (edited) |
| kiran.kadam911 | Ohk @KarinG, then we can go ahead with #19 Can you pls update your comment on the issue that will be great #3158372: Allow users to decide on th alignment#comment-13753089 (edited) |
| KarinG | @kiran.kadam911 - I can't make that call - but looking at #19 -> that's what I would support to be included. I'll add that to the Issue. |
3️⃣ Where can people help this week?
| mtift (he/him) | Share your suggestions here |
| proeung | I would love if folks can add +1 to the following issue threads. We really need some help with getting some of these PostCSS plugins into Core.#3093013: Allow PostCSS Plugin “PostCSS RTL” in core for Olivero theme |
