I've created an entity comparison for a content-type. When I try to manage the content-type display via core layout builder, the entity comparison link is not rended and the following error appears:

This block is broken or missing.

IT seems that this error occurs when the plugin manager tries to render the plugin for the entity comparison field. The PluginNotFoundException is triggered so the plugin definition is set to 'broken'.

This work around make sense for layout builder using blocks instead of fields is good practice i think, we can close this issue.
