Problem/Motivation

Stable theme has been without subsystem maintainers for a while. There are issues touching Stable regularly so it would be great to have a subsystem maintainer helping on triaging issues and providing reviews.

Earlier this year we introduced a new Stable theme for Drupal 9. @bnjmnm did most of the work on the new theme and as result he has been able to build a deep understanding on how the theme works. I think he would be a great candidate for being a subsystem maintainer of Stable theme.

Proposed resolution

Add bnjmnm as a subsystem maintainer of Stable.

Absolutely +1! Ben has great technical skills and attention to detail, manages large and difficult change sets well, plans ahead, and is kind and an excellent communicator.

This still needed? Noticed there is no stable or stable9 section in MAINTAINER.txt on D10

@bnjmnm chose to focus on becoming an accessibility maintainer at the time, and since then, he's taken on the role of a frontend framework manager, so all the themes fall under his final review as a committer.

Stable is no longer in core, but Stable9 is and does need a maintainer (at least until we make it possible to do away with stable base themes in D11 or such). It'd be good to have a subsystem maintainer specifically for that, probably someone other than @bnjmnm to support the frontend framework managers' work. So this issue is probably wontfix, but I'll leave that up to Ben. :)

Moving to closed but will ping him also on slack to let him know

I'd be interested in helping out with stable9 and - eventually - being maintainer.
