Update in .info.yml file.
tdnshah created an issue. See original summary.
Updated the .info.yml for drupal 9 readiness
Can you please provide more details on why the change is needed? Any links to Drupal's doc?
As after drupal 8.7.7 drupal supports core version requirement key in info.yml file hence if the module supports multiple drupal version we can leverage semantic versioning. Ref:- 1. https://www.drupal.org/docs/9/how-to-prepare-your-drupal-7-or-8-site-for... 2. https://www.drupal.org/node/3070687
Thank you
I am correctly the issue tags. I apologize for bumping this issue.

Issue #3131765 by tdnshah, e.bogatyrev: Make compatible with Drupal 9
@gvso, thanks for committing this as well. Is there a new release planned here as well? Thanks for all your work.
Automatically closed - issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
@gvso, I hope you don't mind the soft bump here. Any plans to tag a new release?
Seconded, would be great to get a release out, this is one of the last modules blocking us from jumping to D9.
Thanks for all your work!
Good news! This project has a new maintainer (https://www.drupal.org/project/social_auth/issues/3180189) and this has just been released in 8.x-2.0-rc3:

Please also have a look at the "8.x-2.0 release planning" issue to see if you can help RTBC/validate issues for a stable 2.0 release:

Thanks all!
