1️⃣ Status updateOur path to beta is currently headed towards Drupal 9.1, and lots of issues are getting completed! #3111409: Add new Olivero frontend theme to Drupal 9.1 core as beta

mtift (he/him) Let's use this issue to discuss the overall status of the initiative, and we'll discuss specific issues in later threads. Any questions or comments about the overall status of the Olivero initiative?
mtift (he/him) Overall, it seems like there has been a lot of progress
mherchel Still lots of momentum! These are the issues that were marked fixed within the prev week
mherchel I’ve honestly been pretty busy, but found a good amount of time this weekend to hammer away at a few things
mherchel I still want to release our first alpha by May 1st, and we’ll get there (I honestly think the code is already good enough)

mherchel I also set up a meeting with Lauri Eskola (who is the front-end maintainer for Drupal core) for Thursday to give an overview of where we’re at, and what changes need to be made to the standard core profile
mherchel In addition to all of those, there are several other issues that are marked as needs review
mherchel I’m planning on taking Wednesday off from work (my current project has been working me hard) so I can concentrate on catching up.
kostyashupenko Yep.. @mherchel can you show a list of things to be made for standard profile when you'll be ready? Maybe i can add my 50 cents
mherchel sure! Do you want to create an issue?
mherchel Right now, I’m thinking:- Add hero image style to core- Set article view mode image field to use 'hero' image style.- Remove links from teaser view mode for - article content type - page content type- Set page teaser view mode to output body as "summary or trimmed"
kostyashupenko I believe we'll need an issue sure, when this list will be approved :)
mherchel those are half thought through :slightly_smiling_face:
mherchel We can discuss what we want in an issue within the Olivero project, and then open corresponding issues within core when we’re ready
kostyashupenko We also need an image style for user - compact display, square type with scale+crop or smth like this

kostyashupenko I would say #3124839: Olivero Design: Determine design treatment for the Document media type
mherchel I’ve been working on documenting the grid system (#3129149: Improve documentation: grid system). I actually started this several weeks ago, but then stopped. I’ll hopefully get this in a good place (for review) within a couple hours.
