I am requeuing the test here as I don't think the patch is required anymore. The latest version on 8.x-2.x branch already has the line: https://git.drupalcode.org/project/entity_redirect/-/blob/8.x-2.x/entity...

It was fixed in both branches 1 and 2 but composer definition still takes over packaging compatibility (from info.yml)
