Drupal 9 will not have a version specific logo. Many people are considering how to illustrate social media posts, presentations and blog posts about Drupal 9. Some come up with awkward Drupal 9 semi-logos. Having fun community illustrations is a better way and does not breed confusion about the brand.
Create community illustrations. I posted this call to contributors on twitter:

Some more ideas include: bake a 9-shaped donut, do (legal) graffiti, write a poem, do time-lapse light photography, 3d print a piece, etc.

johnalbinHere's a Drupal 9 yin and yang logo I created for DrupalCamp Taipei in 2016. I've upload the SVG version of the file too, though d.org made me zip it first.
