We currently support geofield and geolocation types of field. It would be good to also support latlon

Find the patch attached to add support for latlon. I tested it against latlon / geofield / geolocation and it seems to work ok

Sorry I haven't been working on this module much lately.
I cleaned up your patch a bit and added an ensureTable() to ensure both the lat & lon tables are included in the query.
Feel free to re-open this issue if anything is lacking.
