The prepareData() method had been removed from the JsonapiHelperInterface.
You can now call it statically from the EntityShareUtility class.
Before:
$this->jsonapiHelper->prepareData($json['data']);
After:
use Drupal\entity_share\EntityShareUtility;
EntityShareUtility::prepareData($json['data']);
