I have the option images up and working perfectly as long as im logged in as an admin, soon as i logout no images appear at all. anyone know why this could be?

Sounds like you didn't give anonymous users permission to view option images in your access control settings. If you post here, it's probably a little redundant to post on Ubercart.org, too. ; )

Yup thats correct there is a permission you must give to other roles
