Problem/Motivation

In testing #2959493-151: Allow Layout Builder live previews to be toggled to allow easier drag-and-drop, I discovered that the search block form is a little odd-looking when looking at it in Layout Builder's placeholder ("grid") mode. One of these things is not like the others:

The problem is that Classy, Bartik, and Umami all have a template for this block, and each of them adds the container-inline CSS class, which displays the form inline and thus negates the text centering that Layout Builder adds to the placeholders.

Drupal core is moving towards using a “main” branch. As an interim step, a new 11.x branch has been opened, as Drupal.org infrastructure cannot currently fully support a branch named main. New developments and disruptive changes should now be targeted for the 11.x branch, which currently accepts only minor-version allowed changes. I tested this on a fresh install of standard and umami. I was not able to reproduce the problem.

Therefore, closing as cannot reproduce. If you are experiencing this problem on a supported version of Drupal reopen the issue, by setting the status to 'Active', and provide complete steps to reproduce the issue (starting from "Install Drupal core").
