Bug in exlusion pages?

I have a page whose content is populated using mostly javascript. With this module enabled, the images generated on the page never load. Even when I enter the path in the excluded pages list. This happens regardless whether 'loadInvisible' is ticked on the admin page or not. I'm not 100% this is a bug, as it may be expected behavior, but if it's expected is there any sort of work around this issue so that my images render on this page? I can see that my images attributes are being changed regardless of if my page is on the excluded list.
