Thickbox allows you to show full-size images without leaving the gallery page, and also adds 'previous' and 'next' links.

Note: There is still a little bug with Thickbox so be careful to not choose to small images, the preview won't be created and your gallery won't work properly. I don't know exactly the minimum size but you will realize coz it won't charge the image in the Thickbox preview. So just make the image a little bit bigger or just choose a better one.

(Comment: Isn't the problem that the full size image is *smaller* than image module's 'preview' size, and that thus thickbox is looking for an image file with a 'preview' suffix which doesn't exist?)

Note: as long as you click on the image everything will be ok and Thickbox will do it's work but if you click on the image name (label) it won't use Thickbox. I believe that at this point I have to theme a bit the gallery ... with view I guess to get rid of the label. I hope I will succeed and continue this tutorial.

I like the idea of thickbox not going if clicking on title of image, because in this way then there is space to comment and add text to images more easily.

it actually works really nice in lightbox2, when you can add a text to the description of the photo, saying, for example, "rate and/or comment this photo", which send you to the node page
