If the uploaded video is already an flv file (extension .flv), then the api call of module_invoke_all('flashvideo_save_file', $newfile); is not made.

I have modified my local copy, and added the line above at line 1170 (DRUPAL-5--2-7, file version 1.20.2.32)

Did you say you fixed this?!!! I would love to see what you did. This will fix an issue with S3 that I have been fighting for a while that I can't seem to figure out.
