Since the new confirmation page, non-admins have been having trouble with confirming their publishing/unpublishing actions. The publish/unpublish tab is there, but once they click on it and try to hit the "confirm" button, the page just gets reloaded with the same question: Are you sure you want to Publish/Unpublish this content? Basically, nothing happens.

As admins, the confirm button works without any issues.

It looks like a permissions issue. But when I check their permissions they have the following checked:

  • Publish editable content
  • Unpublish editable content
  • Publish any [content type] content
  • Publish own [content type] content
  • Publish editable [content type] content
  • Unpublish any [content type] content
  • Unpublish own [content type] content
  • Unpublish editable [content type] content

Is there any new permission setting that's new that I'm missing? I don't understand why non-admins can't confirm their un/publish, while admins can.

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
