Currently there are no options to be applied to the background images of the paragraphs. It would be cool if we had options for fixed / parallax positioning :) Is this in the scope of this module?

You could have a simple parallax scrolling effect

Not sure if we are going to include this effect out of the box

I've currently just taken a look at this: https://github.com/xenomedia/xeno_hero as it is written by the same dev who produced the original Bootstrap Paragraphs. It works ok but I'm thinking of using jquery-parallax using some code from a previous project so I can add more options such as a fixed position background image and see how it performs.

Varbase Paragraphs allows you to add classes. I believe you can achieve this functionality through adding classes for a the desired paragraph.
