If you do not enable Facebook Messenger you get an error:

1 error has been found: Facebook App ID

However for that field to even display you have to enable the Messenger. I do not need to have the messenger on the site I am working on, and therefore cannot configure it.

Hi Christopher,

You were right, the field is now only required if 'facebook messenger' is effectively checked, otherwise you will no longer get the error.
Fixed in version 1.1

Hi, I have tested it, If I choose the facebook messenger button then the facebook App Id is required. And If you don't fill the app id it will give you an error, which is correct. Marking it as RTBC.
