Problem/Motivation

I have a crash if I disable the 'Language' field:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'value' in Drupal\permissions_by_term\Service\AccessStorage->saveTermPermissions() (line 379 of modules/contrib/permissions_by_term/src/Service/AccessStorage.php).

Proposed resolution

Removing the default value 'en' at this line should solve the problem.

Thanks for your contribution! The fix is part of the latest version 8.x-1.54 release.

There have been more fixes regarding language in the 8.x-1.54 release. Check this issue: Module does not work when language modules are disabled.
