When attempting to use NetforumDbStorage::getObjectCacheItemFromName I unfortunately received the following message: Drupal\Core\Database\DatabaseExceptionWrapper: SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'app_database.netforum_object_cache' doesn't exist. The netforum.install file does not seem to have any information about this table. Many thanks for your assistance...

Unfortunately, this looks like a holdover from the D7 version, and needs to be removed. Abila no longer allows access to the Object information in netFORUM, so this method in NetforumDbStorage should not exist. It's sad, because I found this capability useful back when they allowed access to this information. The best replacement is the netFORUM GetFacadeObjectList() method, which gives you a list of facade objects. Then you can use the dreadful GetFacadeXMLSchema() to find out what parameters can be set. It's not at all human friendly, and soapUI is your best bet at seeing what's available.
