There's an update to the Entity API module, see https://www.drupal.org/sa-contrib-2018-013. Code changes since the version used in Panopoly (1.8) look pretty straightforward.

I'm going to start the release process anyway though, since I've tested the update on loads of sites since yesterday, and it'll take me about as long as a test run to release anyway. If I get to the very end of the process and the Travis tests fail, I can always abort.
