For the menu item for "Input Formats", if you try to edit that menu item and then submit the changes, Drupal will complain that the description is longer than 128 chars which is apparently the maximum length.

Looks like the db setting is a varchar with max length 255, so I've added that to the form definition in the enclosed patch...

Pretty straightforward fix. Looks like this is not an issue in Drupal 6 or HEAD.
