Cannot properly control/hide submitted info

Drupal core provides submitted info using the node template, and controlled by the "Display author and date information" option on the node type config page. Drupal does not offer any means to alter the order relative to other fields.

This module provides submitted info using a psuedo-field, hence allowing control of order using "Manage Display". The intended use is to enable at most one of these, hence the core setting should be disabled if using the psuedo-field.

Unfortunately the psuedo-field only occurs if "Display author and date information" option is enabled, whereas it should be the opposite.
