Hi,
could someone give me an advice how to set custom markers?

I'm working with geolocation in profile entity and created some custom png markers. Width and height are 64px. I loaded them into /sites/default/files/

Then in form widget, display widget and in views under Marker Icon Path I set /sites/default/files/3D-Marker.png

But no marker is shown. All are hidden.

Just remove the first slash from path and it should work: sites/default/files/3D-Marker.png

Okay thx.
Now it works on the view page. Thats great.

But its not displayed on the map of a single profile page where I'm using the same path for that custom marker.

Okay I found the issue:
on display settings and form display settings to get custom markers visible you have to use absolute paths. Relative paths are not working. Then custom markers are hidden.

So it shouldn't have a fixed status.

Note: this issue + commit broke the default marker icons.
See #2947648: Default markers are broken after [#2941285].
People using custom icon paths are strongly encouraged to test that so we ensure we don't re-break your world while fixing the default. I was careful, but real-world testing is always appreciated.
