Unique urlBorg.com features

urlBorg has some unique features -see what users say about it!

account history

Login to your account using your GMail email and password, and get a detailed history of all the "short links" you created as well as the links you clicked.
If you and your friends use urlBorg, searching for "that funny link" someone posted the other day on twitter, is much easier. Just go back to your click history.
You can also see stats of the links you created. How many clicks each one of them had?

previews

One of the powerful features of urlBorg is the "preview" page. Users that enable the option "always show previews" are not redirected to the target page, but see an intermidiate "preview page". Normally, the preview page has a link to the intended URL, but in some cases the preview page has extra functionality.

  • links to MP3 files will display an mp3 player (click for example)
  • a handy (exp. if you are a mobile twitter!) "show mobile version" link for anyone using a mobile device (example)
  • alternative links to Yahoo! Maps for the same location as a Google Map link (example) and vice versa.

turn short links into discussions!

urlBorg queries summize.com and returns any mentions of the specific short URL in twitter. Effectively, making a short URL the center of a discussion!
