Any chance of not making breaking API changes in betas? Could deprecate and extend like core would.

I created #2952495: [beta2 regression] Undo class removal, deprecate them instead to address #7.

I was too hasty here. Let's fix it, but do it for all needed classes/interfaces at once (we removed 3).
