In update 8.x-4.0-rc3 you renamed the photos_user_count() in /src/PhotosAlbum.php to userAlbumCount().
But in /inc/photos.form.inc you still call the function with its old name:
function _photos_form($node) {
// @todo re-write as form alter.
$user = \Drupal::currentUser();
if ($user->id() <> 1) {
$t = PhotosAlbum::photos_user_count();
[...]
The result is, that only the admin user (1) can create new albums, because any other user will cause an "Error: Call to undefined method".
Changing that part to the correct new name, solves that error.
I want to apologize, if my issue report isn't correctly formatted and I hope I delivered enough information to solve it.
But I think you need to know about that error, since the error is still present in the latest downloadable version.
